Ron Hillier says:

This video can’t help you choose speakers unless you’re gullible and buy whatever others tell you to buy. The best speakers are those that sound best to YOU. Get off your butt and go listen to them. Don’t make a hasty choice. Speakers will last for several decades if taken care of so be choosy. A review can show you a thimbleful of what is available. If you order from the links below, the reviewer gets paid. Get out and listen to real thing people.

Chris Ball says:

A very narrow selection that can never be classed as “BEST”. The description of each is very shallow and I have reservations as to whether the narrator actually has any professional knowledge or experience in loudspeaker technology.

Low end to low middle is not the best floor standing speakers. Even my Paradigm Classic 11s which don’t need a sub if you drive them with a separate amp ($1600 when they were made them) is far from being in the top echelon of floorstanding speakers.

Stephen Scott says:

My new Focal 726 Floor Standing Speakers are amazing.

Petflora says:

click bait. He should say he hasn’t listened to many speakers, like Emerald Physics KCIIs which are aan absolute bargain in the $2K range

Bruce Borowski says:

I’ve come to the conclusion the speaker enclosure is just as or is even more important then the driver in many respects…………….. as I believe all square shaped cased speakers are inherently flawed from the get go, as they promote internal reflections which come right back out the diaphragm. Is that a too obvious and contradictory concept to grasp??? It shouldn’t be: I hear it all the time and been hearing about it for years; yet most speaker companies use this fundamentally flawed design approach without confronting the issue…..or addressing it. it is only the the very few select companies that really comprehend this problem is not going to go away unless there is a radical change in mentality. Alternatively, too much dampening material makes them too quiet, and muffled so in my case, I improvised and build sound traps as one solution. I never could understand the concept of how cheap mass produced speakers create good sound…….that sounds delusional to me; Nonetheless their are some excellent drivers for sale that do not cost 100’s of dollars and when utilized properly put many high end, high cost speakers to shame when compared to side by side. The concept of utilizing individual speakers well within their optimal range should be rather obvious to me. Nothing like a living breathing speaker that can produce sound effortlessly………….. not to mention being able to sit for hours and enjoy them. I’ve designed driver modules that have their own individual cases with each their own individual adjustable inserts so that you can adjust the internal case volume on the fly. Yes large sound front’s are to die for…… nothing like living large or in this case listening large……… there is absolutely nothing like a large expansive delicious sounding wave front that absolutely engulfs you……it never ceases to bring a smile to my face..and amaze me.. Each sound driver should have it’s own individual case. except for tweeters of course as they are usually sealed in the back anyways….case materials cans be harder or softer to promote certain characteristics as well shaping the sound,.. and these individual units can be added or subtracted, moved/ adjusted,, closer together or further apart, up down, and all around as well as forwards or backwards, as my baffle plate changes periodically to accommodate and promote ease of adjustments, related to interference issues and wave overlaps, and as already stated, .. being able to adjust the internal case volume and port size and length while they are playing .. nothing like being able to make for an infinite amount of adjustments……. I can have a different sounding speaker every day if I wish… but I find it just too baffling… as there is far too many possible adjustments. it’s actually embarrassing as it leaves me feeling stupid and at a loss as to what I am hearing and doing most of the time. How ever I eventually figure it out by countless adjustments. Ports are a little trickier but doable as you must adjust port diameter, profile and length in order to fine tune the xmax and retain the free cone movement without over extension so they reproduce sound effortlessly without distorting. I call it the cutting edge dialed back one degree just to retain sound purity. I have tried to blow up my one set for 7 years, they are a little on the well broken in side but I can still make people jump as they hit so hard. I call it snap…….. or explosiveness, .. and I can adjust my air spring” resistance” to tighten it up to compensate ..it’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it and don’t believe the naysayers… Their is absolutely no end to learning and ability to improve sound presentation and adjust sound front….. get rid of those…. naysayers….. throw them out in the desert where they belong. let them wonder around for 40 years until they die hahahahahahahahaha

I like your channel. You give us a lot of information about the product so we can choose. THis is one of them, very careful explanation about floorstanding speakers with all details and features. I really like Q Acoustics 3050, the design is so nice. Thinking about buying one in the future.

Michael Sargent says:

In my opinion, the right floor speakers are only one component of a perfect home audio setup. Most of the picks in this roundup require a dedicated home theater receiver in order to showcase their full potential. If you don’t own one already, be sure to budget accordingly… Great video !

Really its amazing video from 10bestones. This video guides me to choose best speaker for my home. thanks.

Ron Hillier says:

These are all low to mid range speakers. The BEST speakers are far above these. Kilohertz is pronounced Keelo hurtz not Keelo hairs. Also, speakers not distorting when you turn the volume to maximum depends on many factors. Some of us have amps that can smoke some of these speakers if turned to max output. Some bass hungry people also add equalization or bump up lower frequencies that can easily overextend or burn voice coils at high volumes. While we can respect your opinions on what you like, before you make certain statements you should learn more about audio. Nice video production though.

Bip in says:

The review is excellent and so detailed. Klipsch RP-280FA will be suitable for me. Thank you so much for sharing and expecting more videos like this…

Campbell Hicks says:

If you are on a very strict budget, then I suppose this selection is ok, certainly not the best in their category or performance in general
