always a douche move to do a sound demo in a parking lot of a business establishment.
you bigger amp and power.
hi i just getting to car audio how much do you set your frequency to on your amp
Pretty good setup. I love kicker l7s. I have the same setup ish. Idk if you like being really loud or not but if you do I would set you’re lpf to 80hz. The lights dimming is always gonna happen because they’re halogens. You can get a headlight kit that holds a charge for the headlights it comes with and your problem should be solved. Also with the ohm rating. Did you mean the amp is rated at 2 ohms? Just curious to see if you’re feeding the beast they’re full potential.
That’s probably around 135-140db maybe less. Which is Nothing lol. Plus you need to get rid of that capacitor they do nothing get a better battery a xs power d3400 would be great combo more than enough “juice” for that amp. Plus A cap is not meant to “add power” or stop electrical systems form malfunctioning(headlights/dash lights dimming) they are made to stop alternator wine from coming through the system. Also do the big 3/4 upgrade to. That will help more than that stupid cap by itself. Plus did you see the vibration form your box. That can cause unnecessary harm to your amp. Or cause a wire to come loose and a fire can occur. Hope you read this just trying to help a fellow basshead out
Banana plug is cheap but I say get rid of that cap and also that amp doesn’t look good on top of that box but I get you the truck is very small and small and powerful amps are very expensive if you trying to stay on budget and definitely get a better box
oh the days wanting to be the loudest. it feels like a lifetime ago but in reality a decade. I like this subwoofers but you have a lot of work ahead of you if you’re interested in making it look and sound better. I’ll look for an updated video since this video is older.
My Cuzzin’s system was two 15″ kicker cvr in the original kicker ported box with the port hole on the side and he had it in a chevy Tahoe and they hit so fuckin hard you couldn’t breathe you felt it in your chest and back and you could scream as loud as you could and you wouldn’t hear your own voice the bass was crispy clean and loud as fuck that’s why I love kickers!!
They seem underpowered
theres so many wrong things used in this built… l7s need better box better gauge wire
That is so not the right box for those L7 subs, you have no idea how much quality and quantity of bass your loosing. That same generic box is sold everywhere, it is not even close to the proper specs, it’s the opposite from them. That box is way to small and the port, tuned to 55hz, is way to high in this case making everything rattle horribly inside your car while robbing all your low end response. Making matters far worse is the massive amount of port distortion coming from this ass backwards design. I didn’t watch your whole video once I saw your box I watched no more. If you gave this setup a good rating then you have no idea how it should sound.
one channel + one channel-
I used to have two 12s and my amp would make them make a pop noise since they couldn’t handle the power
AGM battery, big 3, 0 gauge on the big 3 and amp. If you want a capacitor get a stinger 5 farad hybrid cap. and if you want to keep rolling with prefab boxes then at least go with a GroundShaker box, most if not all of their boxes are pretty decent and pretty damn close to spec. Good luck bro. you are heading in the right direction
The equipment you have is good but the setup is not on par. Those sub’s can handle the amp at 1 ohm all day long. And yes the amp does rated RMS at 1 ohm. I agree that the box is not the best if you want to get more bass out of those sub’s.
you need to dynomat your shit all over or its all a waste.
4:20 ” Samsung Galaxy S7 Note”…..what.? Did this bother anyone else.? It’s either the Galaxy or the Note.
