Been wanting to see something like this (a Marshall speaker with a turntable) for a while now. Thank you! Awesome! I hope you get a Woburn and do a video about it with a turntable as well.
Your review was the first I’ve seen which actually gave me an impression of how loud it really is! Wow. The only thing that’s holding me back is that I listen to quite a few different genres. How’s it for lighter rock/ more vocal oriented stuff/ electronic? Is the bass profile more mids and highs or is there a decent extension as well?
Thanks for the vid.
Sorry to bother you. I have a quiestion. Do you know if the marshall acton can be use with a turntable? And also which Preamp and receiver do you use with your marshall? (sory for mi english im from argentina)
Thanks for the great review! Best Buy has this on sale for $169.00….really tempted to buy but so many reviews complaining of high failure rate after a year or so of use. Not very encouraging.
For those thinking of using a turntable as in the video, make sure it have a built in RIA-filter/Preamp (like in the video) in your turntable or you gonna need a separate one.
